The Big Bang Theory: 10 Funniest Raj Quotes About Love

The Big Bang Theory fans have died from embarrassment for Raj at least once. Especially when it comes to these 10 funny quotes of his about love.

Many fans The Big Bang Theory  have died from embarrassment for Raj at least once. For 12 years fans watched as Raj struggled to talk to women and have a successful long term relationship with any human of the opposite sex. And while all of his friends ended the series with their happily-ever-afters, Raj remained single with no future hope of love in sight.
Raj might not have been the lady's man of The Big Bang Theory crew, but he did have a few words of wisdom and relatable quotes about love and relationships. Here are Raj's 10 funniest quotes about love:

10"If I Were Hitting On You, You'd Know It 'Cause You'd Feel Uncomfortable And A Little Sad For Me."

Watching Raj attempt to flirt with women was downright painful at times as his interactions with women was typically uncomfortable for everyone involved. Raj was not the smoothest talker or the most confident man, but it didn't stop him from trying to get a date, once he overcame his fear of talking to women.
Most people have been in the same position as Raj though, they awkwardly failed at trying to flirt and then they simply ended up feeling sorry for not only themselves but also for everyone else who had to witness the fiasco.

9"Cinnamon, She Gave Me Her Phone Number! If I'd Known It Was That Easy, I'd Have Considered Poisoning You Months Ago."

Sometimes a man has to do what a man has to do in order to get a woman's phone number. Raj proved this when he was a little too eager at the thought of poisoning his beloved dog, Cinnamon, in order to get the veterinarian's phone number in season 7, episode 15 "The Locomotive Manipulation".
The veterinarian seemed to understand Raj's unique relationship with Cinnamon and almost admire him for how much he loved his dog. If only she knew that he was willing to poison his dog, just to get a date with her.

8"I Don't Have Valentine's Day Plans, Which Is Why I Booked Time On The Big Telescope That Night."

Every fan knows how much Raj despises Valentine's Day as he is often alone on the holiday filled with Cupid, flowers, and chocolate. But this quote is one of Raj's best quotes as it reminds those without a Valentine's date to still love themselves.
This was a  touching moment, until Raj ruined it. After Raj told Amy he would be spending Valentine's Day with the big telescope, she tried to support him by saying how his plans sounded romantic. In true Raj fashion though, he did not accept the compliment and instead replied with, "Except I'll be alone." So close Raj, so close.

7"I Have To Feel Sorry For Myself. I'm The Only One Who Cares Just Like I'm The Only One Who'll Have Sex With Me."

Sometimes in life you have to be your own support system and if you're Raj, that includes feeling sorry for yourself and spending quality one-on-one time with yourself. Raj might be a brilliant astrophysicist, but he does not seem to have a high emotional intelligence as he is often throwing himself a pity party for the fact that he doesn't have a girlfriend.
But this is why fans love Raj, he is one of the most relatable characters as who has not struggled with the fact that they don't have a significant other.

6"I'm Just Saying That After Everything You've Been Through, You Get To Look Into Each Other's Eyes And Say  'I Love You'. And That's Beautiful."

Raj is definitely the most sensitive of the group as he is often the who one who reminds the others about the meaning of love and how special it is. In season 6, episode 1 "The Date Night Variable" Raj reminds not only Penny and Leonard , but also all of the fans, just how beautiful it is to have someone to love and love you back.
Once again this could have been a sweet moment, but Raj ruined it by demanding that Penny tell Leonard that she loves him. Kind of takes the romance out of saying 'I love you' when one of your upset friends is yelling at you to do it.

5"When I Had Money, I Dated Lots Of Girls Who Weren't Right For Me. And Then I Gave Up My Money, And Now I'm Alone, And Living With My Friends, And Somebody Else Should Probably Talk Now."

Every now and then Raj is good at giving at advice, but most of the time he should just stand back and nod his head in agreement. This was proven in season 10, episode 21 "The Separation Agitation" when he attempts to convince Bert to not go out with women who are after his money.
After Bert tells the gang how he bought his new love a flat screen on their first date, Raj feels the need to intervene and tell his own story in hopes of getting Bert to see the truth. But things go awry as Raj's story didn't have the happy ending it needed to inspire Bert to fully change his mind.

4"Cute Is For Bunnies. I Want To Be Something With Sex Appeal. Like A Labradoodle."

Being called cute doesn't always cut it for some people, especially if you're like Raj. Raj has been called cute several times and he seems to have had enough of it in season 4, episode 14 "The Thespian Catalyst". According to Raj, being cute is like being rabbit and we all know rabbits have no sex appeal. But what animal does?
Apparently nothing says sexy like a labradoodle. This is what Raj aspires to be. He wants to say goodbye to his cute bunny days and say hello to his sexy labradoodle days.

3"It Means That I Like Women, As Well As Their Skincare Products."

One thing fans love about Raj is that he is not the stereotypical male persona who doesn't care about his outfits matching or his skin being soft. Raj is quite the opposite in fact as he does value a good pair of designer shoes and a high quality skincare regimen.
Many people, including Raj's own parents, wondered if he was gay. But Raj put the rumors to rest about his sexuality in season 5, episode 20 "The Transporter Malfunction" when he explains he is "metro-sexual" which, in simple terms, means that he likes women and their skincare products.

2"You Can't Ruin A Friendship With Sex. That's Like Ruining Ice Cream With Chocolate Sprinkles."

Raj is ever the logical thinker as he believes nothing can go wrong in a friends-with-benefits situation. To Raj the friendship would only get better with the addition of sex as it's one good thing paired with another good thing. Unfortunately for Raj, he was wrong again.
When Penny and Raj made the mistake of spending the night together, Penny had to set him straight by stating she wanted to go back to the friendship they had before, pre-sprinkles. So, a word to the wise, sometimes too much of a good thing is not a good thing at all.

1"To Paraphrase Shakespeare, 'It's Better To Have Loved And Lost Then To Stay Home Every Night And Download Increasingly Shameful Pornography'."

Raj is no stranger when it comes to wearing your heart on your sleeve as he has suffered many heartbreaks throughout The Big Bang Theory's 12 seasons. After each heartache, Raj finds a way to pick himself up and put his heart out there once again, proving that he is stronger than people give him credit for.
Many fans rooted for Raj to find happiness by the end of the series. Even though in the end, Raj did not find his happily ever after, at least he had his friends who all loved him. He may have loved and lost, but at least he didn't spend every night for 12 years downloading porn.

Here are 10 inspiring quotes by Vinod Khosla on his birthday Read more at: https://yourstory.com/2020/01/vinod-khosla-birthday-quotes-startups-entrepreneurs

On the occasion of billionaire Vinod Khosla’s 65th birthday, here are some of his quotes that will inspire and motivate the entrepreneurs in you

Billionaire Venture Capitalist Vinod Khosla always dared to dream and achieve big. Known for his differentiated thinking on technology and investment, the entrepreneur-turned-investor has been at the core of many startup journeys. He pursued his dreams when he co-founded Sun Microsystems in 1982. At present, Vinod manages Khosla Ventures, which he founded in 2004. The firm invests in startups from sectors including the internet, computing, mobile, silicon technology, biotechnology, healthcare, and clean technology. Apart from Khosla Ventures, he has also been part of many other businesses. As the Co-founder of The Indus Entrepreneurs (TiE), he also engages in training entrepreneurs. Vinod Khosla, Founder of Khosla Ventures Also Read ‘85 per cent of valuations in the startup world are over valued’ says Vinod Khosla One of the earliest tech-billionaire entrepreneurs, Vinod today turns 65. His go-to mantra for budding businesses is his optimistic approach. He always believed that only a willingness to fail will help us develop an ability to succeed. In 2014, the Indian-American businessman was named among the 400 richest people in the world by Forbes. After spending close to 40 years building companies and breaking monopolies, Vinod continues to be optimistic about entrepreneurship, especially about Indian startups whose ‘quality’, he believes, has improved ‘significantly’.  Some of his principles in entrepreneurship include taking risks, being innovative, brutal honesty, and a desire to make a difference. As one of the most influential figures not just in Silicon Valley, but the larger world of business and tech as well, Vinod Khosla has been a vocal proponent of the entrepreneurship spirit. On his birthday, here are some of his inspiring quotes on entrepreneurship and technology.

I have probably failed more often than anybody else in Silicon Valley. Those don't matter. I don't remember the failures. You remember the big successes.

What an entrepreneur does is to build for the long run. If the market is great, you get all of the resources you can. You build to it. But a good entrepreneur is always prepared to throttle back, put on the brakes, and if the world changes, adapt to the world.

I am a fiscal hawk. I vote against all taxes, but I do believe the environment and climate change, is a bigger issue than fiscal deficits are as a risk to the nation.

Startups allow technologists and scientists to take risks and change plans in a way that would be frowned upon in a big company. Having said that, big companies will play a key role in certain areas and in partnerships with little companies. Each has its strengths.

Our focus is not on exit. In fact, if you talk to any of my entrepreneurs, I'm generally saying, 'Don't sell the company,' when other investors want to sell. I'd much rather focus on building long-term value in building companies rather than worrying about exits.

Hopefully, I can advise entrepreneurs to avoid mistakes. But you can never be sure if you're trying something new and unreasonable.

All the entrepreneurs we saw today were taking risks, and that is a good thing. Most countries do better when they (entrepreneurs) take risks, and I see that happening here in India.

The only way you multiply resources is with technology. To really affect poverty, energy, health, education, or anything else - there is no other way.

Any problem is an opportunity. The bigger the problem, the bigger the opportunity.

Failure is a natural part of the cycle for startups because without taking risks you can’t have innovation. And, with risk, you will have failures. People just have to have the mindset of accepting failures.  (Edited by Suman Singh)

India Republic Day 2020: Parade, Flag hoisting time, celebration and all you need to know

India is a land of colourful festivals celebrated by different caste, creed and religion. But national festivals are something, which binds the entire nation together, imparting a message of 'unity in diversity'.
Republic day is one of the prominent national festival celebrated every year on January 26 with utmost enthusiasm and the zeal. This year India will celebrate its 71st Republic Day and preparations for the same are on full swing across the country.
Importance of Republic day
It was on Republic Day the Indian Constitution came into force and the country was declared as the largest democracy in the world. After India gained Independence from the British rule on August 15, 1947, it was felt that there was a need for a written constitution to run the country systematically. After this, a committee was formed, which was headed by Dr Bhim Rao Ambedkar to draft the constitution. The first draft of the constitution was submitted on November 4, 1947, but it took exactly 2 years, 11 months and 18 days to finally adopt the Constitution with the necessary amendments. It was on November 26, 1949, the Constituent Assembly of India formally adopted the Constitution of India. However, it came into force on January 26, 1950. Since then India celebrates Republic Day on January 26 as
The constitution declares India a sovereign, socialist, secular, democratic republic, assuring justice, equality, liberty and promoting fraternity to all its citizens.
R-Day celebration
Every year on this day people hoist tricolour flags and organise cultural festivals across the country to celebrate the day. But the celebration in the national capital, at the Rajpath, has always been the centre of attraction.
The president of India hoists the flag at Rajpath every year, which is followed by a colourful parade showcasing the diversity of the country and military power.
India’s military power is presided over by President Ram Nath Kovind, who is the Supreme Commander of the Indian Armed Forces.
Assorted tableaus representing the diverse tradition of different states is also a major attraction of the R-day parade in the national capital. The President of India also confers the military persons, citizens and children with bravery awards for showing courage in the face of adversity.
It is a custom to have a foreign head of nations as the Chief Guest for the R-Day Parade and this year Brazilian President Jair Bolsonaro will grace the event as the guest of honour.
Flag hoisting time
The flag hoisting ceremony at Rajpath in the national capital takes place mostly at 8:00 AM on January 26, 2019. President of India Ram Nath Kovind will hoist the tricolour, which will be followed by R-Day parade.
For Republic Day celebration, schools, colleges, government and private offices are decked up in tricolour balloons and ribbons. In all the places the flags are unfurled before noon. Special functions are also organised in the educational institutions where thought-provoking speeches are delivered by students and teachers.
